Metric Conversion in Northern Cyprus

The conversion to metric measurements in Northern Cyprus took place some years ago. However it is still possible to talk in terms of inches, miles etc. The traditional Cypriot measurements of "oke" can still be used to buy meat and vegetables. One oke is equal to 1.23 kg.
